Paul

Gliding along the kingston river path

Doing my usual doings

The occasional hop and a skip

Then the arms assume their natural position

Some tai chi-ness movement

I fellow cycles over as the paths meet

“Was that tai chi?”

It was indeed, I respond

Two worlds collide

Sharing the well of another

Grapplings of this and that

The laying to rest of love

“Trust

you must trust this life

and follow this heart”

He says

We smile

both knowing the wisdom above and below

It was a pleasure to meet you Paul

We part and he cycles with no where to go

But to mum and her grand designs

Dão winks for another one

The wind is these trees

Never cease to blow
